For some reason, as soon as fall hits, I’m ready to spend my afternoons cooking! Yesterday I decided to make a Guinness beef pot roast and wanted to make something for dessert, as well. I found this apple cake when searching the web (although I did tweak it a bit) and it didn’t disappoint. It’s moist, delicious and very easy to make. It doesn’t even require an electric mixer!
You could easily eat this plain (it’s that moist) but I couldn’t resist adding some french vanilla ice cream!
